The selection of Brown, a serial entrepreneur, inventor and partner of Cryptomathic; Diffie, a world renowned cryptographer and security specialist, and Marshall, former Chair of the UK Cards Association Card Security Group and security expert at Barclays; delivers a wealth of expertise to provide guidance that will further advance Cryptomathic's cutting-edge security technology and enhance its market-leading product innovation strategy.

With over 25 years' experience, Cryptomathic is a leading provider of security solutions to businesses across a wide range of industry sectors including finance, technology, digital rights management, and government. The establishment of the Cryptomathic Technical Advisory Board will ensure that Cryptomathic's solutions continue to be a step ahead of the market and effectively support the long-term, and often unforeseen, requirements of the industry.

He brings his extensive knowledge of technological advancements and foresight in the US market to Cryptomathic.

As one of the key pioneers behind the invention of public-key cryptography, Diffie's extensive involvement with cryptographic innovation, which spans four decades, also includes contributions to the development of encryption standards, design of security protocols used in protecting packet-switched networks, and a key role in the formation of a public cryptographic community. These contributions have brought him numerous awards, including the National Computer Systems Security Award given jointly by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the National Security Agency, the Marconi Prize, the IEEE Hamming Award, and membership in the National Inventors' Hall of Fame.

With over twenty years' experience in IT security services, including roles with Barclays, the UK aerospace and defence industry, as well as his longstanding involvement with the UK Cards Association, Marshall is one of the most experienced security professionals in the payment card industry. As a member of the Technical Advisory Board, Marshall will contribute valuable insight into the commercial and technical challenges facing financial service providers in harnessing, managing and successfully utilising cryptographic techniques in IT systems.
