Sagem Orga do Brasil, the leading Latin American smart card manufacturer, has appointed Cryptomathic to deliver its data preparation solution, CardInk. The system will be integral to Sagem Orga do Brasil's issuance of EMV debit and credit cards.CardInk is Cryptomathic's second generation EMV data preparation system for single and multiple application cards.
On behalf of its banking customers, Sagem Orga do Brasil will use the solution to generate payment application data for various card schemes including MasterCard and Visa for which Sermepa Advantis technology is used. As well as creating all cryptographic data, CardInk ensures data is prepared and keys are managed in a highly secure environment throughout the card issuing process.
