Cryptomathic Expands in Middle East & Africa with Latest Appointment

Cryptomathic has strengthened its position in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) with the appointment of Amru Kotb as Senior Vice President. Amru will be responsible for spearheading Cryptomathic's business in the region and providing local support for the growing MEA client base.

With customers in many Middle Eastern countries such as Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE, as well as in Africa in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast and South Africa, Cryptomathic is dedicated to increasing its footprint and improving customer support by applying region specific resources. Amru's competence and experience in the security sector, which was gained from roles at leading global technology companies including Avery Dennison MEA and Giesecke & Devrient MENA, will be key to achieving these goals.

Amru brings 20 years' of expertise in delivering large-scale ID and public key infrastructure projects to banks and governments alike. He will primarily be responsible for supporting the needs of Cryptomathic's existing and vastly expanding, customer base. Additionally, Amru will identify and build strong relationships with regional partners, boosting corporate visibility and service offerings.
